Contact City’s Public Works for Fall Maintenance

City of Redmond Transportation Services staff conduct annual street light inventories, making note of street lights in need of repair. However, residents are also encouraged to report a street light out in their area. Contact Public Works at 425-556-2854 or pwgen@redmond.gov with the street light’s location and 12-digit number found eye-level on each pole. This information allows the Transportation Services Division to determine if the street light is City-owned and maintained, or if they must notify Puget Sound Energy regarding the outage.

“Once the report is made, repairs are scheduled and usually complete within two weeks,” says Susan Byszeski, Traffic Safety Specialist for the City of Redmond.

For a list of the services provided to the community by the City’s Public Works Department, check the City website.
