On 09/25/07 at approximately 1:45 pm, Redmond Police responded to a
bank robbery alarm at a bank in the 17000 block of Redmond Way. Bank
employees confirmed with police dispatch that a robbery had
occurred, and the suspect fled on foot towards Redmond Way. He was
described as a male white in his mid 40’s, 6 ft tall, weighing 150
to 160 lbs, and wearing a multi-colored ballcap with a dark emblem
on a white background in the front, a tan sweatshirt, jeans, and
white tennis shoes.
The suspect entered the bank, passed a note demanding money, and
then walked out without displaying a weapon of any kind. The amount
of money taken in this robbery is as yet unknown. Police cordoned
off the area but did not locate the suspect. Redmond Detectives and
the Federal Bureau of Investigation responded to the scene. The
description of the suspect in this case is similar to another bank
robbery that occurred in Redmond on 09/04/07, but it is not yet
known if this is the same person.
Anyone with information leading to the identification of this
suspect is urged to call the Redmond Police Department or the FBI.
