Road Work continues on NE 85 Street

Drivers should expect to see daytime detours and lane configuration changes along NE 85 Street between 7am and 5pm starting on September 24 as work continues to convert the roadway from four lanes to three.

Intersections along NE 85 Street will be effected one at a time as follows:
• Work will begin at 164 Avenue NE with a police officer directing traffic around the intersection.
• Work then moves to the intersection at 158 Avenue NE where a police officer will also be present.
• Closures will then occur at 160 and at 161 Avenue NE

In all these cases access to local businesses and residences will be maintained between the detour and the intersection even though drivers will not be able to cross the intersection.
