Join the Old Fire House Teen Center (OFH), 16510 NE 79th Street,
Redmond to celebrate the 15th anniversary of one of the most
innovative teen centers and second longest running all-ages music
venues in the Northwest. Events will be happening on both Friday,
September 21 and Saturday, September 22.
The OFH is widely known for its contribution and support of young
musicians and the local all-ages music scene in the Puget Sound
region. Along with its music legacy, the OFH has served as a drop-in
teen center that provides a safe and supportive space for area teens
13-19 years of age.
“The OFH specializes in mentoring non-traditional and
marginalized youth, but supports all teens and their diverse
backgrounds to reach their goals,” says Chris Cullen, Teen Center
Program Coordinator. “Some or the more well known musicians who have
performed at and supported the OFH include Blood Brothers, Fugazi,
Seaweed, The Gossip, The Presidents of the United States, Death Cab
for Cutie, Modest Mouse, Rocky Votolato and the list goes on.”
Both Friday and Saturday will feature daytime events and evening
concerts detailed below.

The Old Fire House Teen Center was created in 1992 with the
vision of the City of Redmond’s Mayor Rosemarie Ives, the Parks and
Recreations Department and pro-youth residents. The Center’s first
director, Kate Becker, her staff and the teens helped to create a
great foundation for youth and all-ages music in the Pacific
Northwest. Fifteen years later the OFH is still fulfilling its
mission and is a stronger place, in part, due to that solid
foundation.
