Traffic Revision on Redmond Way

Between 132 and 140 Avenue NE Starting Thursday, August 9, traffic on Redmond Way will be down to one lane in each direction between 132 and 140 Avenue NE from 9am to 3:30pm daily as work continues on a City of Redmond project to make sidewalk and transit improvements along the corridor. This work zone traffic revision is expected to be in place through the end of the month.

The Redmond Way Sidewalk and Transit Improvement Project includes construction of a sidewalk along the north side of Redmond Way, installation of a planter strip between the sidewalk and westbound lanes of traffic, revised channelization and a new storm drainage system. A center median will be located between 132 and 139 Avenue NE while intersections at 132 and 140 Avenue NE will be widened to permit u-turns as the new median will restrict left-turn movements.

More information about this project can be found on the City of Redmond website or by calling Dennis Brunelle, City of Redmond Project Manager, at 425-556-2724.
