Perrigo Community Park may undergo revisions and the City of
Redmond’s Parks and Trails Commission wants to hear from the
community. A public meeting will be held on Thursday, January 3,
2008, (7:00 pm) at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center,
16600 NE 80th Street, Room 105. The discussion will involve an
additional 3.08 acres of land purchased and added to the park in
2006.
Barker Landscape Architects, Inc, a consultant on the project,
will give a brief presentation introducing possible concepts for
amending the park’s master plan. Afterward the floor will be opened
to comments from the participants.
The Parks & Trails Commission is planning on holding additional
meetings on this issue and a community open house may be scheduled
based on public response. Please check the City’s web page for the
dates of future meetings.
