Task Force on Homelessness

Mission Statement

The Task Force will seek to better understand the scope and causes of homelessness in Redmond, the systems in place to address homelessness, and will consider the range of concerns and potential solutions identified by the community.  The Task Force will identify and recommend a set of short- and longer-term actions that our community can undertake to address these issues.

Focus Groups

Over the course of several weeks, City staff and volunteers met with various groups of individuals in order to ask questions and to gain their comments regarding their experiences with homelessness.  These groups include those who are currently experiencing homelessness, those who work with homeless individuals and others.  Transcripts of these focus groups are available below:
