Project Description:
Site development and construction of Fire Station 17, in the growing north Redmond neighborhood, is underway.  This project is the latest addition to the City of Redmond's public safety infrastructure.  The facility was designed for the Redmond Fire Department by TCA Architecture-Planning of Seattle, Washington.  The design will meet present day needs while allowing for future staffing changes within the facility footprint constructed now.

When Fire Station 17 opens, in the spring of 2012, it will house an aid car staffed 24/7/365 by two firefighter/EMTs providing basic life support services to the region.  The station will serve the north Redmond neighborhood, northern portions of Education Hill, and the northern ends of the Willows Road, Redmond-Woodinville Road, and Avondale Road corridors within the City of Redmond and King County Fire District 34.
