Description: Design and construction of 161st Avenue NE that will connect the new Bear Creek Parkway north to downtown at Redmond Way. Project features will include a new street connection, signal improvements, sidewalks, street lighting, utilities and landscaping. At the end of the roadway construction project, the property between the new 161st Avenue NE and Brown Street will be finished with a lawn area for public use.

The Redmond Shopping Square building and site demolition was completed summer 2010. Environmental cleanup work was completed fall 2010.
