Description: Improvements to this intersection have added two additional thru lanes to the east leg of the intersection and the left-turn lane for westbound NE 124th Street to southbound SR 202 has been lengthened to provide more storage and reduce the backups.  Curb, gutter, planter strip and sidewalk and bike lanes will be placed along the eastern leg.  A second left-turn lane will also be added on the south leg of SR 202 to westbound NE 124th Street. Traffic signal modifications will be made to accommodate the revised channelization.

Project is currently preparing to complete final grinding, paving and striping activities (weather dependent).  The majority of the 202/124th intersection grinding and paving work will be performed at night between the hours of 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM.  Additional traffic impacts between the hours of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM can be expected periodically until project completion.  Daytime lane closures (one lane max each direction) will be restricted to the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.  Lane closures at the intersection will require the signal to be in flash and traffic will be controlled by a police officer.  Traffic delays should be expected.
