Public Safety.
Fire and emergency medical response times continue have shown improvement, with the percentage of calls responded to within the target timeframe up from 84 percent in 2011 to 88 percent in 2014.

Education. The Lake Washington School District graduation rate decreased slightly from 91.7 percent in 2013 to 90.2 percent in 2014. Redmond High School saw its graduation rate increase from 92.1 percent in 2013 to 93.0 percent in 2014.

Parks and Open Space. Redmond meets citywide park acreage and nearly meets citywide trail mile objectives, but parks and trails are distributed in such a way that some neighborhoods have a deficit of neighborhood parks, access to trails, or both.
