Make Music is a free celebration of music around the world every June 21st, the summer solstice. Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part.

Downtown Redmond

This year, Redmond will participate with Make Music programming in Downtown Redmond and Idylwood Park. Downtown Redmond will be filled with music through performances on the Moving Art Center stage (behind the Matador) and buskers (near the SIGNALS art installation and Western Wear).

11:30am – 1:30pm Gilman Landing (behind Matador)
11:30am – 1:30pm Signals (Redmond Central Connector)
11:30am – 1:30pm Western Wear Parking Lot

Idylwood Park

Make Music Day will conclude at Idylwood Park with evening programming throughout the park at various stages and attendees will even be able to make their own instruments to share music with the community. Family-friendly where everyone can participate in music in some way by playing with it, listening to it or making it.
