After Hours

What is After Hours? It’s a fun after school program offered at Redmond, Rose Hill, and Stella Schola Middle Schools.

  • Examples of clubs include: Design a Graphic T-Shirt, Sports & Games, and Weird Science.
  • Registration -  Students can register by completing a form and returning it to their schools with a check made to the City of Redmond, OR you can call us to register 425-556-2339. 
  • Scholarships are available and we will work with families individually to get them involved in our programs. Please fill out the form and turn it into the Old Redmond Schoolhouse, or via email to afterhours@redmond.gov.

                                                                                                       

Rose Hill/Stella Schola

Program Starts: September 24th

Clubs start October 1st Wednesdays 1:00pm – 3:00pm

After Hours at RHMS occurs Wednesdays after school from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. Students meet in the Auxiliary Gym, just off the commons, and receive a snack.  From there students participate in a large group activity and then at 1:30pm they break off into clubs. Each day we offer 3 club choices for students to participate in. Clubs are run by community partners (such as Eastside Audubon, UW Bothell, Redmond Library) and our recreation staff. Clubs run for 4 weeks and then we start a new set. Clubs are designed to offer a variety of interests and are youth driven.

Redmond Middle School

Program Starts: September 9th

Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:30pm – 3:30pm

Wednesdays 1:00pm – 3:00pm

After Hours at RMS occurs Tuesdays – Thursdays on regularly scheduled school days. Each day we offer 1 – 3 club choices for students to participate in. Clubs are run by community partners (such as Eastside Audubon, UW Bothell, Redmond Library) and our recreation staff. Clubs run for 4 weeks and then we start a new set. Clubs are designed to offer a variety of interests and are youth driven.

Students can register for all three days or just Wednesdays. There is a brand new activity bus on Wednesdays that will provide transportation from RMS and drop off around Redmond. Also there is a Study Lab that happens in the Library during these after school times so students can get help with Homework.

During the Month of September students can come to our programs, Tuesday – Thursday, and try it out for free. Our regularly scheduled clubs will begin in October.
