What will NE 85 Street look like?
Currently, NE 85 Street is configured as a four lane road with bike
lanes. The conversion will provide one travel lane in each
direction, a continuous two-way left turn lane, bike lanes on both sides
of the streets, and areas that can be used for parallel parking, bus
stop pull-outs, right turn lanes, or loading zones. We are also
considering adding a gateway feature at the bridge over the slough.
What will 164 Avenue NE look like?
Most of 164 Avenue NE (from Cleveland to NE 87 Street) is configured
as a four lane road. The conversion will provide one travel lane
in each direction, a continuous two-way left turn lane, and bike lanes
on both sides of the streets. Buses will stop in-lane.
How much will it cost to convert these

Committee allocated $629,000 in business tax revenue to fund this
