Classical theatre for families of all ages
One man's loan to impress a would-be girlfriend endangers the life of his friend when the loan comes due. The price: a pound of flesh. Shylock, the embittered Jewish moneylender, seeks revenge on his Christian persecutors. Shakespeare's dynamic play illuminates both sides of the prejudicial relationships and delves into the humanity behind our stereotypes and misconceptions. The play includes two of Shakespeare's most famous speeches, and includes such famous lines as "Hath not a Jew eyes?" and "The quality of mercy is not strained."

Jazz melding gypsy, modern, ethnic, and classical genres
Billet-Deux performs a masterful melding of gypsy jazz, modern jazz, ethnic and classical genres. Acoustic jazz influenced by Django Reinhardt and filtered through the cafes of Paris, classical concert halls, and modern jazz all combine to create an incredible musical experience.
