Arts Commission

The Redmond Arts Commission (RAC) is a nine-member, mayor appointed, council confirmed volunteer board. The RAC voices the views of the community to Mayor and City Council in reference to all cultural activities. The Commission's task is to recommend policies and procedures to address matters related to the arts. The Arts Commission makes recommendations through the Director of Parks & Recreation. The Arts Commission sponsors programs in tandem with the Redmond Parks & Recreation Department and it also works with community and arts organizations to cosponsor programs.
