Arts Commission Strategic Plan


Vision Statement

“We envision the day when diverse arts opportunities and offerings are a principal reason why people love to live and work here and why tourists visit Redmond.”

Members of the Arts Commission serve their community by advising the Mayor and City Council on matters pertaining to arts and culture in Redmond. The Redmond Arts Commission Strategic Plan was created to guide the Arts Commission’s programmatic and funding decisions through 2010. This plan also provides the Commission with a tool for educating and involving Redmond’s residents and other key stakeholders in the City’s arts and culture. Included in the plan are several Programmatic, Infrastructure, and Administrative goals as well as a series of strategies the Commission will undertake to help achieve those goals.
